Thank you for visiting Trevorode the Defender. Over the next few months, I’ll be introducing you to him, his author, Agnes Quinn, and her friends . . . and foes. I’ll also share the “inside story” of my own writing journey, rather similar (as you might well imagine) to Agnes’ story. So pull up an imaginary chair or a real one and have a seat.

Native Texan Holly Bebernitz moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1967. After thirty years of teaching speech, English, and history on the secondary and college levels, she retired from classroom teaching to become a full-time grandmother. The change in schedule allowed the time needed to complete the novel she had begun writing in 1998. When Trevorode the Defender was published in March 2013, the author realized the story of the Magnolia Arms was not yet complete.
Having read the synopsis, I’m left to ponder the thought: “How -does- one choose which dream to save?”
